WHO ARE WE NKOMWA FOUNDATION TRUST

Overview

Nkomwa Foundation Trust (NFT) is a disability-led Community Based Organisation based in Gwanda, Zimbabwe. Established in 2020 and legally registered as a “Trust”. Its primary mission is to create an inclusive ecosystem through support, empowerment and mainstreaming in sustainable ways, rights of persons with disabilities particularly children.

NFT is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and ensuring that individuals with disabilities have access to essential resources, education, and opportunities. The organization prioritizes empowering PWDs through various programs and services.

The organization has been involved in various initiatives, such as disability rights sensitization meetings and community engagements to raise awareness and support for PWDs. NFT encourages and relies on donations, grants, and volunteer support to support its initiatives.
