NFT REACHES OUT TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES IN BEITBRIDGE
Beitbridge: Last week, Nkomwa Foundation Trust (NFT) extended support to people with disabilities (PWDs) in the Beitbridge community by distributing essential clothing items and other basic necessities.
Among the beneficiaries were people with albinism, who received much-needed sunscreen lotions, while school-going children were provided with stationery to support their education.
The beneficiaries were drawn from several villages, including Chapfutche, Chabili, Lutumba East, and Lutumba West. The distribution exercise was carried out in collaboration with the Department of Social Development.
“As an institution, I would like to commend the Matabeleland South community for their continued donations, which allow us to reach out and support our constituency. Clothing is a fundamental necessity for people with disabilities—it’s essential for their independence, dignity, and social participation. It also supports self-expression and fosters inclusivity,” said NFT Director, Mr. Nkomwa.
Together, we are making a difference—one step at a time
