Gwanda – The pleasing progress in Matabeleland South’s non-profit organization, Nhlamba Development Hub, is now going to beautify Ntepe Community with a Clinic, after residents have gone for decades without a nearby health facility, with dwellers having a positive approach to the Initiative.

Nhlamba Development Hub, a non-profit community based driven hub that came to live during the reign of the late Chief Denis Nhlamba, with its self-driven mandate to uplift over 20 marginalized communities under the chief’’s jurisdiction and beyond, is now coming to reality.
With their community driven agenda, the Nhlamba Hub is set to spearhead vocational centers, clinics, farming areas, schools among others to kick-off development to the communities, courtesy to the late Chief.
The hub has since started to map ways for the Ntepe clinic to come to reality, as the first stepping stone towards community develop, as confirmed by the secretary of the hub.
“We are an entity that seek to attain high standards of development under our Chief’s jurisdiction, we also want to set development in places like Nsimbi, Mtantawenema , Mbamba, Mvukudzi, Sengezane among others. We are currently in early stages of the clinic.” Said Collins Sibanda.
The initiative which is basking from the positive support from the community, is also in need of extras from well-wishers to intervene and boost the initiative.
“We are appealing for well-wishers to intercede in the development of this project through funding, building material, human workmanship we really appreciate, for those who want to financially help, even in diaspora, we have means for you to help us, just contact us”. The Secretary highlighted.
Currently with support from the two local Councillors, Miclas Ndlovu (Ward 13) and Phineas Maphosa (Ward 14) the hub has obtained a nod from Rural Development Council, first it was for the hub registration and currently the 100x4m clinic pegging has been done.
“We have been allocated land right where we proposed to construct our precious clinic, behind the veterinary service and north facing churches at Ntepe business Centre.
This is our project it is now everyone’s mandate to partake in this venture, I assure you that together we can achieve great starting with this clinic. Said Cllr Maphosa.
