dAY 3-CHILD PROTECTION SERVICE FAIR

Yesterday, NKomwa Foundation Trust (NFT) proudly participated in the third and final day of the Child Protection Service Fair, held at Tshongwe Primary school grounds in Ward 11, Gwanda District.

The outreach programme, which brought essential child protection services directly to communities, was conducted over three days across different centres in the district. Day 1 was held at Shake Business Centre, Day 2 at Makwe Business Centre, and Tshongwe Primary School grounds.

Throughout the fair, various stakeholders came together to provide critical services and information aimed at strengthening child protection systems at community level. Services offered included the issuance of identity documents, provision of sunscreen lotions to children with Albinism, as well as awareness on gender-based violence, family support services, child rights, and child-friendly reporting mechanisms for abuse.

For NFT, participating in this important initiative ensured that children with disabilities remain visible and included in all child protection frameworks. The organisation continues to advocate for inclusive and accessible services so that every child, regardless of ability, is protected and supported.

NFT remains committed to working with partners and communities to promote inclusive child protection and ensure that no child is left behind.
